The Zac Brown Band won’t be continuing their tour anytime soon.
rule singer Zac Brown tested positive for COVID-19 and was forced to cancel several upcoming tour dates.
In a lengthy social media post, Brown, 43, shared a heartfelt message to his fans regarding his coronavirus position.
“To all our fans,” the country singer began. “I have made the very difficult decision to pause Zac Brown Band’s ‘The reappearance Tour.’ Despite taking precautions, I’ve tested positive for COVID-19.”
He continued, “I am deeply disappointed this has happened, as touring is our life and performing live for our fans is the best part of our job. The bottom line is that I want to take every precaution to put the health and safety of our fans and crew first. We will begin again the tour as soon as I have finished the CDC-mandated quarantine and it is safe for our band members and crew to do so.”
“I am grateful to our fans for understanding this decision, in addition as everyone on the front lines who can’t stay at home because their work is basic,” Brown said. “I believe we can all conquer this together. As soon as we can, we’ll see you back out on the road again. Nothing’s better than the reappearance.”
In the comments section, he explained that refunds can be given out for the canceled shows in Clarkston, Michigan; Burgettstown, Pennsylvania; Syracuse and Saratoga Springs, New York. The concerts were originally scheduled to be held Sept. 30 by Oct. 3.
