Police – NBC 6 South Florida

Police are investigating an early morning deadly shooting Wednesday that took place outside a gas stop in Miramar.

Officers arrived at the Shell stop located at the 2800 block of South State Road 7 after the shooting took place around 2:40 a.m.

Miramar Police said a preliminary investigation showed the victim was allegedly banging on the windshield of a car and attempted to get in when the driver opened fired.

The male victim died at the scene while the male driver was detained and is being questioned by officers.
