Four people killed in a head-on crash in Weld County early Saturday morning have been identified, two women who died were senior airmen stationed at F.E. Warren Air Force Base near Cheyenne.

Yasmin Takiah Evans, 22, and her only passenger, Taylor Alize Lipscomb Ashley, 24, were killed in the two-means crash at about 2:35 a.m. on U.S. Highway 85 near the Wyoming  border, according to the Weld County Coroner’s Office.

The airmen were stated to the 90th Missile Security Operations Squadron and the 790th Missile Security Forces Squadron, according to an Air Force news release.

“This is a terrible tragedy for the complete wing team,” said Col. Catherine Barrington, 90th Missile Wing commander, in the release. “Our priority is to do everything we can to sustain the two families and all their friends and loved ones struggling with this loss.”
